Bobby Magik is an artist from Blantyre, Malawi, building from hip-hop and moving through R&B, soul and trap depending on what a song needs. His verses shift between English and Chichewa, sometimes in the same bar, because that's how the ideas come out.

He writes everything himself — the flows, the hooks, the whole thing — and doesn't stick to one style just for the sake of consistency. Some songs stay in the pocket and let the rap speak for itself. Others lean fully into melody when the feeling matters more than the bars. He also mixes and masters his own music, keeping the creative process largely in his own hands from writing to the finished record.

The production can draw from Western R&B and trap, but the perspective stays Malawian — the language, the references, and the way a relationship or a night out gets described. Relationships, girls, street life, and the small emotional things that are hard to say out loud all find their way into the music.
